The flu season is rapidly approaching and we would like to remind you of the continued importance of taking appropriate precautions to prevent the spread of the H1N1 virus as well as the other seasonal viruses which are easily spread in an academic or work setting. The H1N1 fact sheet is intended to provide current, important facts regarding the H1N1 and other strains of flu virus for the Foothill-De Anza Community College District.

District staff and others have worked with the California Community College State Chancellor's Office to prepare a video to provide more information. The Pandemic Education and Prevention video clip is about ten minutes long and is hosted on You Tube.

The mission of the Risk Management Department is to provide a safe environment conducive for work and learning, and to protect and preserve district property and assets. The responsibilities of the Risk Management Department include purchasing and managing insurance, managing property and liability claims, providing safety training for faculty and staff and maintaining compliance with OSHA regulations.
